I think it was a hit. We have it scheduled again next month on January 12th .and it looks like we can start at 3 PM like a regular Roundup. We were just testing how it would go yesterday and we actually can’t believe it went that smoothly. Our Horse Race Team were like pros! Next time if we can get a Concession crew that doesn’t mind missing the races, we will serve food all during the races because that it what it seemed people were looking for.

And thanks much to all the Pickleball people who helped to serve and cleanup after the event. I forgot to thank them at the meeting but everything went smoothly thanks to them. It was a great evening!

Christmas Party: The Christmas Party is scheduled for December 24th at 2 PM. We will be entertained by a young singer, song writer and guitarist from Razz Ma Tazz. He is Tony Longoria and he plans on going into the music business. He has been doing a lot of Christmas gigs this season. We will pass the hat for the performance. Bring an appetizer to share with your table. We think this will work better than one huge table as some people at the end, don’t get too much! Coffee, Iced Tea and Punch will be served. Instead of exchanging gifts this year, we are going to donate to a local animal shelter. Barb DeGaramo is coordinating with the animal shelter.
Christmas Candlelight Service will begin at 7 PM on December 24th. It is a beautiful service and is non-denominational. Everyone is invited to attend.
Christmas Dinner will begin on 1 PM in the Large Hall. It looks like we’ll have a number of tables on Christmas Day. We noticed that we only have one person signed up to help cleanup the kitchen and pack up the trash. We’ll again have our truck outside so that the trash can be loaded on it. Just don’t dump liquids into the trash bags as that really makes a mess and we just washed the truck! Also, if you haven’t picked up your turkey or ham money, it is available in the Activities Office.

The rules are on the bulletin boards in the Large and Small Halls as well as being on the Blog under the Bus Trip Information Tab.
