Today we celebrated Kentucky Derby Day at our horse races. We had some special food for lunch: Ham and Swiss Sliders and Fruit Salad or Chicken Salad on Croissants and Chips and some Mint Julep Dessert. Lee also made a Mint Julep Drink Concoction and Mary made some Fruit Punch.
Ladies wore their bonnets and there were prizes for the Best Dressed Man and the Best Dressed Woman.
And, of course, we all enjoyed the races.
