The Angel Tree Project was again a huge success. Patti Ellison and Mary Hanson are the Coordinators of this project. Take a look at the gifts that will be taken to ARISE. What a wonderful time the children will have opening all these gifts.

New Building Update – Jim Thomas announced we had received the $10,000 check from the Wilder Corporation. He has bids to construct the shell and the contractor is available by mid-January. Thomas will be available in the Small Hall after the meeting and on Thursday morning to answer questions and accept donations. We need to raise another $16,000. That is approximately $20 per person in the park.
A Loaded Baked Potato Bar and dessert along with entertainment by Carlos will be held Friday, December 23, 2016 at 5:30 pm as a building fundraiser. Admission is $10 per person. A sign-up sheet was available.
Stockings Project: Barb DeGaramo thanked everyone for their donations to the stockings. We presented 239 stockings for the children.
Lee King presented the following information
Route 66 dance – 68 attended; Jam 140 meals served; 90 residents had blood drawn from RGVH; and the 4 His Glory Gospel Group will return on March 9th.
Activities will no longer accept $50 or $100 bills at their events.
Murder at the Deadwood Saloon:
Note: – Anita and Lee were dressed in costume for the late 1800’s to introduce a new event at the Ranch. A Murder Mystery Dinner Theater “Murder at the Deadwood Saloon” will be held on January 31st at 5:30 pm. Tickets are available in the Activity Office and at the Park Meeting Mall for $12.00. Some of the cast were present………..Lee Clement, Harry High Stakes, Owner of the Deadwood Saloon; Larry Chapin, Mitch Maverick, Businessman from the East; and Sherri Melvin and Della Rae Orndorff will be saloon girls…………. It is going to be a fun night you won’t want to miss.
Menu – Hardtack; cowboy beans; beef stew, cornbread, and cobbler.
Tables will guess who the murderer is and receive prizes. More information and a teaser will be given at the meeting each week.

Red Head Express will be here on January 19th with performances at 3 pm and 7 pm. Advance Tickets are now available at $10. Tickets at the door are $12
Treadmill update – Exercise Room. The treadmill that was broken is standing up. A new treadmill has been set up.
Garage Sale – January 20 – Sign up for tables in the Activity Office.
Friday, December 23 – 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm Loaded Baked Potato Bar with dessert; 6:45 pm door prizes and 50/50 drawing; 7 pm -9 pm Music with Carlos. No lunch will be served on Friday.
Saturday, December 24th – 2 pm Christmas Party, bring goodies to share. If you wish to exchange presents, please bring a $10 gift, wrapped, and marked for man or woman.
Candlelight Service at 7 pm on Saturday night. Please join us.
Sunday, December 25th 9 am – Worship Service
At approximately 11 am – Lee King will announce when tables can be moved to set up for your Christmas dinner.
Tuesday, December 27th 3 pm – Lone Star Downs will be held in the Friendship Hall. Please join in the fun of Winter Ranch Horse Racing. Concessions will be open. Need Volunteers.
